We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Care Manager to join our team at our office in Rocky Hill Connecticut.. The Clinical care performes an integral role by facilitating high quality, cost effective managed behavioral health care for members.
_Position Responsibilities:_
_Position Requirements:_
_Provides prior authorizations, peer reviews and referrals to facilities, providers and group practice and other services as appropriate._
_Respond to memebers's crisis by providing crisis counseling, refers to providers or community resources to assess members needs, and reviews request for service authorizations for designated services._
_Develop collaborative relationships with providers to deliver appropriate and timely health care services. Establish relationships with identified members, family and social support systems when indicated_
_Advocate for member's needs to facilitate movement through systems both internal and external to the organization_
Education _: Master's Degree and independently license in one or more of the following: Social Work- LCSW, Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage Family Therapist or Registed Nurse. ._
Licensure : _Connecticut License_
Relevant Work Experience: _Two years post masters degree experience in the delivery of social work/counseling serives in a behavioral health care or homehealth setting is required._
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
_must be able to type 60wpm_
_Managed care experience is a benefit_

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
