Resident Engineer

Company has an opening for an experienced Resident Engineer for oversight on municipal roadway and utility projects based out of our Rocky Hill, CT office.
Experience should include:
5 to 10 years of Resident Engineering observation serving as the owner's on-site representative;
Roadway reconstruction and knowledge of ConnDOT and MassDOT standards;
Pipe installation and rehabilitation;
Traffic management;
Construction in urban environments;
Geotechnical considerations, such as excavation, backfill and compaction; and
Trenchless applications such as cured-in-place pipelining and sliplining.
You will be expected to serve as the principle contact among multiple members of the Company team and provide effective communication with the owner, the contractor, utility companies, and the public.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
