Sales Operations Manager - Consumer goods

This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales for a consumer goods manufacturer with driving and managing various aspects of the Sales organization including but not limited to ensuring adherence to sales and booking policies, forecasting, territory management, compensation planning, and preparation/measurement of key analytics. You will support the Director in providing process consultation and support to the inside and field sales team, analysis and reporting for operational metrics, help drive increased business productivity, assist with problem resolution, and increase customer satisfaction. Experience with brokers in addition to a direct sales force is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Understand and monitor sales dashboards to provide insights to senior sales leadership.
Analyze actual performance metrics (revenues/orders/expenses) and communicate results to Sales Leadership.
Weekly review of booking requirements for all not-bookable orders with the sales administration team; track orders to ensure consistency with Order Acceptance policy and process.
Provide key director with the Director of Sales regarding CRM software. This role is the liaison between sales team and operations team to ensure proper forecasting and inventory availability.
Provide analysis for monthly and quarterly business plans
Collaborate with senior sales leaders to develop plans to close gaps, and strategically grow accounts
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of account management/sales operations experience
Able to exercise sound judgment when faced with complex problems
Excellent organization, time management, and written/verbal communication skills
Able to work independently as well as drive others to develop solutions based on established processes
Must thrive in a fast pace environment requiring a high level of collaboration
Analysis and reporting capabilities on a variety of complex metrics for an executive audience
Able to resolve complex challenges while multi-tasking and maintaining attention to detail
Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, ERP, CRM
Demonstrated interpersonal skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
