Description The Behavior Specialist (BS) is responsible for developing Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) for specific individuals as identified by the senior director. The Behavior Specialist will assess an individual and develop a complete plan, which outlines support strategies to address specific target behaviors as identified in the assessment process. The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for training the direct support staff, and the identified program manager on all aspects of the Behavioral Support Plan. The Behavior Specialist will also be responsible for providing on-going consultation and assistance to the support team for the purpose of updating the plan in response to the changing behavioral needs of the person served.
Requirements The Behavior Specialist must have a Bachelors Degree in a related human services field and have one year of experience in the development of Behavioral Support Plans for people with developmental disabilities. A commitment to serving individuals with severely challenging behaviors in the community setting is essential.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
